Amira Design: Sweet 16

Well Just got in from another great event, and I couldn't wait to share with you. I am truly bummed at how the photos came out, there was absolutely no lightning, and my client's color selection was purple, silver and black, so you can imagine how dark everything looked.

Anyway, I will get to the pictures in a minute, but I have to tell you, working with Claudia on setting up this event was truly a breeze. I pretty much had carte blanche as long as I kept the colors. This was such a great experience, and Lili is such a fantastic kid. So without further ado, here are the pictures, again I am really sorry about the lighting.. :(, hopefully the photographer will get me better pictures.

I wish you could see how gorgeous everything came out. I really need to learn how to use this new camera.

But all in all everything (except the pictures) came out great, but the best part was seeing Lili's and her mother's face when they saw everything. I love it!

Rita asked me to do the invitations for her daughter Dayna’s Sweet 16 birthday, I sat down with her and Dayna to brainstorm about ideas for the party. Dayna didn’t know what she wanted so we started by going through the gallery on my site and she fell in love with the Dr. Seuss Birthday Hat and decided she wanted to do a Dr. Seuss theme party. So now that we had an idea of what she was looking for we started to work on the invitations.
